In the next few weeks, the Office of the Assessor-Recorder will transition to a new main office phone number, 628-652-8100. For the 12 months following this transition, constituents who call the Office’s prior phone number will automatically be transferred to our new line. September 4, 2014 - The deadline to submit a formal appeal for 2014/2015 assessed property value is scheduled to close on Monday, September 15, 2014.
July 9, 2014 - Assessor-Recorder Carmen Chu announced that the City and County of San Francisco’s property roll value grew to $180 billion for Fiscal Year 2014-15, which is an increase of 6.02% or $10 billion over the previous fiscal year.
March 25, 2014 - March 31st is the last day to apply for an Informal Review and April 8th marks last day to report New Construction activity.
February 26, 2014 - Monday, March 31st, will mark the last day residential property owners will be able to file an informal review with the Office of the Assessor-Recorder.
