In the next few weeks, the Office of the Assessor-Recorder will transition to a new main office phone number, 628-652-8100. For the 12 months following this transition, constituents who call the Office’s prior phone number will automatically be transferred to our new line. Office of the Assessor-Recorder Will Be Closed on July 3rd, 2015

OFFICE OF THE ASSESSOR-RECORDER WILL BE CLOSED ON JULY 3, 2015

San Francisco, CA – This year, the July 4th holiday falls on a Saturday and as a result, Friday, July 3rd is the observed federal legal holiday.  Therefore, the Office of the Assessor-Recorder will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2015, and will re-open at 8:00am on Monday, July 6, 2015, with regular office hours.  For the week of June 29th, the last time documents can be submitted to our office for recordation will be 4:00pm on Thursday, July 2nd. 

We recommend taxpayers contact our office prior to our office being closed by calling 415-554-5596. For general questions during the holiday weekend we suggest visiting our website at www.sfassessor.org or contacting 311, San Francisco’s customer service center, by dialing 3-1-1 or visiting www.sf311.org.
