“Argemira Flórez Feng will bring the legal experience, professional acumen, and new energy to the San Francisco Ethics Commission and will continue its work to hold our local government to the highest ethical standards,” said Assessor-Recorder Torres. “As a daughter of immigrants, her lived experience, together with her legal training and practice, will enhance the diversity of perspectives and policy making of this critical city department.”

“I am honored to have been appointed by Assessor-Recorder Torres to serve as a member of the San Francisco Ethics Commission. It is a privilege to serve the people of San Francisco,” said Flórez Feng. “In this role, I hope to use my legal training and range of professional experiences to advance the mission of the Ethics Commission. I also look forward to working alongside and learning from the incumbent Commissioners already doing this very important work.”

Since 2019, Flórez Feng has been working for Wilkie Farr & Gallagher LLP as a litigator. She focuses on commercial litigation and represents clients across the financial and technology sectors. The Ethics Commission was adopted into law by a ballot measure in 1993.
